Startups Kids

Children will learn how to develop their very own startup, from ideation, market research & competition, generating income to PR and marketing across social media platforms to final ‘Pitch Day’! Kids will have a rare chance to pitch their startup idea and the winner will be given £100 prize money to launch!

This is a unique opportunity for your child to gain exposure to the dynamics of starting and growing a business!  Delivered by award winning startup entrepreneurs, your child will learn how to develop innovative business ideas, undertake market research, budget for income and costs, sources of funding, persuasion skills, how to market an idea, public speaking and pitching concepts!

• Ideation, bus description & develop business plan

• PR, Marketing & Social media
• Pitch day for the prize of £100

Date: July

Ages: 8yrs-13yrs

Times: 9.30am – 4pm daily (1.5 hr lunch & 2 x 15 min breaks).

Lunch: Please bring nut free packed lunch. (Biscuits and juice will be provided).

Cost:

Physical on site: £50 per day per child or £230 per week per child.

Virtual remote: £30 per day or £140 per week per child.

Capacity: 16 places are available on site. Places are severely limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Requirements: Your child will be required to bring their own laptop or tablet device.

All supervising adults have a valid DBS.
