Xplorealms is developing an evidence based, research proposal to curriculum innovation as part of of a Masters thesis in Education Technology, Curriculum Design & Policy. We fact check the curriculum and focus on incorporating more diverse and inclusive content.
We have been interviewing and testing our App with children, parents and teachers to develop a creative, fun and immersive educational gaming experience. Our approach to curriculum innovation includes working with the very best brains & subject specialists. We have been researching how the National Curriculum can be visualised & gamified through immersive technologies applying the 21st Century skills methodology, weaving knowledge with character led gaming strategies including; critical thinking, problem solving, communication, creativity & innovation, digital literacy, collaboration, career & life skills, organisation, ability to respond under pressure and resilience.
Our methodology involves; market research, interviews, surveys, research trials with our BBB (Board of Brilliant Brains), focus groups with state and independent schools across the world as well as youth centres and ‘hard to reach’ communities working alongside leading universities, world class gaming specialists, SEN and wellbeing experts. All of which have contributed towards our learning outcomes evaluation framework aligned with the National Curriculum and school exams.
